Majority Leaders Roundtable

Recently, we were honored to host the Majority Leaders from both chambers of the General Assembly. Chairman Woody White moderated the wide-ranging roundtable discussion, which focused on the following five points:

1. NC’s success in business rankings stems from balanced fiscal policy and strategic investments.

2. Education and hiring are evolving toward competency and skills over credentials.

3. Workforce development emphasizes high-paying technical careers outside the traditional college track.

4. Budget negotiations are in final stages with major allocations for emergency recovery.

5. Leaders are preparing an AI- and growth-ready legislative framework for the future.
